The art of tarot

#3 mudita joy.jpg

Tarot is a creative and imaginative practice that enlarges and deepens perceptions.

The safe space of Tarot

Tarot is an invitation to think human experience as a development with key and universal phases that all humans will encounter. It is an art to reunite with the cycles of life and nature. With its symbolic architecture it builds a bridge to esoteric traditions and their attempts to fathom out human trajectory.

What is it that we summon in these moments? Is it our intuition, our subconscious, life energy or spiritual guidance…? Whatever “it” is, it can enrich perspective taking and open up to new unseen dimensions.

Psycho-Tarot reading

As a psychologist, I see a deep connection between tarot and Jung’s work. Jung was a famous psychiatrist who dedicated his life studying what he called the archetypes. Archetypes are forms and dynamics that repeat themselves over human history. Archetypes root themselves in a non-verbal transmission and occur as forms, images, patterns, acts, and imagination. Tarot is an expression of archetypal forces within us.

I chose tarot of Marseille as my main tool but often add some twists and add ups to it depending on the context and needs. I offer tarot with no intention to read the future, not even to find a solution. Tarot belongs to a wilder, bigger, older wisdom and it will guide us.

Tarot can be used when confusion or doubts are arising. I offer it also to untie ideas and to open up to new visions.
